Personality disorders :

Is a group of disorders happening to those who have difficulty in dealing with others, as they suffer from being inflexible and they are unable to cope with the changes of life around them, but people with personality disorders don't see their behavior as abnormal behavior, they feel that their behavior is right.

Causes:

some experts said that personality disorders relate to events that happened during childhood, another said that it may be genetic and inherited.

Types:

personality disorders have many types but all are falling into 3 categories which are:

1- Suspicious which includes (paranoid - schizoid - schizotypal - antisocial).

2- Emotional and impulsive ( borderline - narcissistic - histrionic ).

3- Anxious (avoidant - dependent - obsessive compulsive).

in this topic, we are going to talk about the first cluster, which is suspicious and the next topic will talk about the remaining clusters

paranoid disorder :

people with paranoid personality disorder usually have difficulty in trusting people, they believe that people usually want to use them, or trying to make any available advantage of them.and even their friends, they cannot confide in them. in the situations that happen daily , they see the danger and threats , which others don't see that, they may suspect their partner for being unfaithful without any evidence.

Schizoid personality disorder :

people with that disorder are usually uninterested in making close relationships, even their family, as they feel that relationships will affect badly on their relationships and will cause many problems,so they prefer to be alone most of the time, they don't like other people to interfere their life, and according to pleasure in life , they don't get much pleasure from it, they can be described as emotionally cold persons towards others, they don't interest in sex or intimacy like others.

Schizotypal personality disorder :

people with that disorder find difficulty in making close relationships, usually they think or express themselves in an unusual words or phrases in ways that make others see that they are odd , others see their behavior as eccentric behavior, they believe that they have a special power like reading what in others mind or having 6th sense, and in social situations they usually feel anxious and paranoid.

Antisocial personality disorder:

They are impulsive persons act without considering the consequences of these actions on themselves or other people. they behave sometimes in an illegal way and dangerously.other people see that their behavior is unpleasant, they usually put their demands first whatever they will hurt people or not, as all they put themselves first.they don't have any guilt feeling for what they do in hurting people, they are usually aggressive and they easily get into fights, they have difficulty in holding down their jobs for long as they get bored easily, some of the people with that disorder have a criminal record.
